It Begins With A Name is a baby name recommendation application that provides:
- A personalized discovery quiz to learn your naming preferences
- Access to a database of over 19,000 baby names with meanings and origins
- Partner matching features to find names you both love
- Shareable lists for gathering input from friends and family
3. User Accounts
Some features require creating an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
- Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the App
- Share inappropriate or offensive content through shared lists
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. The baby name data is compiled from public sources and original research.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our express written permission.
6. User-Generated Content
When you create shared lists or provide feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the App.
7. Premium Features
The App offers optional premium features through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Name data is complete or accurate in all cases
- The App will meet your specific requirements
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.
